Un concurs pentru clientii BestJobs, deja de traditie. Ca sa se mai relaxeze si ei :). In doua ore de la trimiterea invitatiilor, deja completasem toata lista - 32 locuri. La prima editie a durat 4 zile, a doua editie 4 ore.
Am zis ca data viitoare o sa fac niste teasing, sa fie firmele atente la ce mailuri primesc…. Sa ia decizia rapid. Sa vad daca pot sa ajung la 10 minute.

Iti faci un cont (fake), downloadezi softul (trebuie sa ai telefon Java), instalare pe telefon si asta e tot.
Alternativele (pentru mine) erau:
- agile messeger (demo si pe urma 40 usd/an)
- messengerul wap de la yahoo - extrem de greoi si trebuia sa dai refresh.

My notes:
- from 100% internauti, ask yourself how many are NOT using you. That’s the size of your potential.
- not all pageviews are created equal. they must be analised factorial.
- give people a reason to click to another story (increase this way the average pageviews/visit)
- in the last decades - visual intelligence increased. verbal intelligence decreased
- 55 minutes/zi average ym usage
- 2 billion yahoo pages in romania/luna
- 5 milions romanians use yahoo services/month
- 6% of the media budget in Romania is allocated on online, and intend to speak with 7 milions people, while 70% of the media budget allocated on TV whants to address 15 milions people
- 70% of internet browsing start with a google search
- don’t advertise on digital. be digital. (ileo - mugur)
- rotarus estimates that 70-80% of advertising budgets overall are thrown away
- you need to be sincere in internet communication + u need to make it available very easy
- everybody sais we should integrate channels, to make crosspromo.
- does my banners communicate what they should be and how they should be?
- good idea for big budgets spent on online: marketing research before and after campaign: “what bycicles brand do u have first in mind” - brand awarness, top of mind, brand attitude, brand adoption - !!!
- CTR varies a lot during the day. in the morning (monday morning), the peoples are more busy, they do not click. In the evening, viceversa.

kinda low figure - in Germany 18% of big sites are optimized for mobile phones. In Romania is only BestJobs m.bestjobs.ro (this is partially, because it should detect mobile version and deliver from the start the optimized version. Mader? )
- XXX business are veeeery good for optimizing monetization on mobile and not only. We should study them more often
- Internet advertising did 20x more money then mobile advertising, although there are 3 billion mobile phones and only 1 billion computers.
- people feel important if they are connected
- people want IMMEDIATE feedback. Not “we will contact u soon”
- bluetooth advertising. Maia, u are number one on this business, correct?

- when something happens, the faster is present in the following channels: mobile, online, broadcast, print
- !!! is far better to teach yout users to be journalists. Because:
- are faaaaar more many then hired journalists
- when something happen, there are much bigger chances that they will be at the scene, so they can offer coverage

- in asia there is very developed 2d codes for mobile phones (couponing and stuff). We’ve test it with those guys in Brasov 3-4 years ago. Complicated.

- it matters a LOT to have good clients and raise together with them. If now they pay on online 10k/month, in 3-4 years can increase 100x.
My general opinion on the event: 10 out of ten. Best web event I’ve been in Romania. Many foreign speakers, large focus on effectivness, they had Coke products, not Pepsi. Manafule, se ridica stacheta ![]()

Imobiliarele scad (ha - am zis de n ori treaba asta).
Bancile incep sa vanda din ce in ce mai greu produsele lor.
Preturile cresc cam la orice (mai ales la produsele energofage).
Dar presiunea de crestere a afacerior de la an la an se pastreaza.
Companiile deabea acum vor incepe sa bage bani mai multi in online. Cand incep actionarii sa preseze pastrarea ritmului de crestere cu orice pret. Si cand nu mai reusesc sa vanda fara discernamant totul si la orice pret. Si atunci managerii, dand din colt in colt, incep sa se uite si la alte modalitati de crestere a vanzarilor. Care incep sa se domoleasca si ulterior sa stagneze/scada.
Trecem usor usor dintr-o piata a vanzatorilor in una a cumparatorilor. Sa mai creasca concurenta. Si sa beneficiem si noi de asta.

M-am abtinut pana acum sa scriu ceva despre campania electorala. Pentru ca mi se pare atat de penibila, incat nu merita sa pierd 3 minute din viata mea scriind un post pe blog.
Dar aseara mi-am schimbat parerea. Cei de la PSD au scos un document cu 1200 de zile de haos in Romania. Si concluzia lor este ca trebuie scoasa cota unica de impozitare de 16%. Lucru care m-a enervat. Drept pentru care o sa ma duc sa votez cu oricine, dar nu cu PSD-ul. Eu care anticipam ca nu are sens sa merg la vot.
Cat de ticalos poti sa fii sa spui anumite lucruri decupate din context ca sa iti faci reclama electorala? Huo.

In activitatea mea mi s-a intamplat de numeroase ori sa mi se promita ceva si pe urma sa mi se dea tzeapa. Mai mare sau mai mica, dar pana la urma tzeapa. Cu contract semnat sau cu gentleman agreement. Tot teapa ramane.
Urasc oamenii care zic ca imi dau un raspuns in x zile si dupa aia trebuie sa ii alerg, sa ii sun de pe numere necunoscute sau sa apar la usa lor ca sa vorbeasca cu mine.
Este o neseriozitate sa promiti ceva si sa nu te tii de cuvant. De la ciumpalaci pana la “mari oameni”. Brandul lor personal devine zero barat in acel moment. Si eu ma asigur sa promovez in toate ocaziile parerea mea despre acel brand, ca sa nu ia si altii teapa.
Intr-o lume atat de relationala precum cea de azi, sa fii neserios devine un dezavantaj major. Pentru ca se afla. Si vei purta intotdeauna stigmatul neseriozitatii. Eu personal am o retea destul de mare de relatii. Si cine intra pe lista mea neagra beneficiaza de promovare gratuita.
Deci, respect pentru cei care se tin de cuvant. Pentru ceilalti, ….

Am facut un parteneriat cu cineva (nu dam nume) si i-am promis FOARTE multe bannere pe unele din siturile neogen in schimbul asocierii brandului meu X cu activitatea lui.
Ii dam drumul la campania de bannere targetata dupa varsta si geografic. Dupa 2 zile ma suna suparat ca el se astepta ca bannerul lui sa apara pe toate paginile. Hahahaha. Si ii explic ca desi ii dau foarte multe bannere, cu o valoare de ratecard suficient sa isi ia o masina, noi avem cam 130 milioane de afisari pe luna. Cea ce inseamna ca afisarile datorate lui din total sunt o picatura intr-un ocean. Plus ca el era in afara varstei targetate, cea ce din start presupunea ca nu va vedea bannerul. Dar omul nu cedeaza. El vrea sa fie pe toate paginile. Ca el asa stie sa lucreze pe internet.
Concluzia e asta: piata inca trebuie educata. Si nu numai tehnic, dar si la capitolul bun simt.
